THE SCHMIDT'S COMMONS

The Schmidt’s Commons is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties, one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in the city. Anchored by an underutilized 80,000 SF public plaza, this mixed-use development required a complete repositioning.

The rebrand began with a name change inspired by the decommissioned historic Schmidt’s Brewery on-site, a suite of all new print and digital assets, and promotion. It was then brought to life with new public space streetscape and landscape design, local social media and press partnerships, collaboration with the local neighborhood alliance, and a year-round events calendar. This repositioning played a critical role in attracting new local retail and off ice tenants to the property.
